Hair extension course 

This course is structured over one day and runs from 10am – 4pm. We ask students to arrive at 9.45am to ensure a prompt start. You will learn the theory of the treatment firstly, we will send you a training manual shortly after booking the course which will be essential to read through. This allows us to spend the majority of the day practising your practical skills, with a short break for lunch. You will practice your treatments using students to allow the maximum time and opportunity during the course to acquire and demonstrate your practical skills.

Suitable for beginners 

With our Hair Extensions Course, you’ll learn the application methods, from nano rings, micro rings, mini tips & ultra tip.

This fully accredited one day course will teach you the skills needed to competently apply hair extensions with confidence. During training, you will learn how to place hair extensions correctly using your two chosen methods, how to consult with a client, how to colour match extensions to natural hair, as well as aftercare. We will train you to apply a full head of hair extensions. As there are a maximum of eight students in any class, you will be able to train with our experienced tutors, knowing you will gain a more hands-on approach.

As there are a wide range of hair extension suppliers on the beauty market, we will supply you with knowledge of the best suppliers so you can provide your clients with high quality extensions. On the day of training, we will provide all the equipment and tools needed. 

Once you have completed your practical training day with us, there will be 3 case studies to be completed to receive your certiciate. Your certificate will be sent to you with 10-14 days, you can then begin working, once insurance has been obtained.

What qualification will you receive? 

When you have successfully completed your training course(s), you will receive a certificate issued by The Salon Academy and accredited by Centre of CPD Excellence. This not only demonstrates your commitment to the training, but also allows you to obtain Public Liability insurance so you can start offering treatments to paying clients from home or mobile.
