Waxing Course

This course is structured over a full day and runs from 10am - 4pm. We ask students to arrive at 9.45am to ensure a prompt start. You will learn the theory of the treatment firstly, we will send you a training manual shortly after booking the course which will be essential to read through. This allows us to spend the majority of the day practising your practical skills, with a short break for lunch. You will practice your treatments using students to allow the maximum time and opportunity during the course to acquire and demonstrate your practical skills.

Suitable for beginners 

Our Waxing Course is designed for those looking to learn how to safely and successfully carry out a variety of waxing treatments. You will be taught to carry out a range of the most popular waxing treatments, as well as learning the theoretical knowledge and safety procedures involved in practicing these treatments to an industry-standard. You will also be required to work on each other on the day, so as much sufficient hair growth as possible will be required.

Once you have completed your practical training day with us, there will be no additional work to be completed to receive your certiciate. Your certificate will be sent to you with 10-14 days, you can then begin working, once insurance has been obtained.

What qualification will you receive? 

When you have successfully completed your training course(s), you will receive a certificate issued by The Salon Academy and accredited by Centre of CPD Excellence. This not only demonstrates your commitment to the training, but also allows you to obtain Public Liability insurance so you can start offering treatments to paying clients from home or mobile.
